The Moraga Park Foundation has a mission to enhance recreational, cultural, and education opportunities, to create a sense of community, and to improve the park facilities in Moraga.

News

The Moraga Park Foundation is sponsoring the first Moraga Trails Challenge. This is a free, self-guided hiking program that encourages Lamorinda residents to explore our local parks and trails. The Moraga Trails Guide and Trails Challenge documentation are available at the Moraga Park & Rec. Dept, or online at Trails Challenge.

Concerts, Activities and more

Please support our recreational facilities by donating today!

Sponsors are sent information each year about the upcoming summer events.  Your participation is welcome in all aspects of MPF projects. Volunteer opportunities include working at the summer concerts and other events at the Commons.  Donations may be made using a check, your credit card and PayPal.

We are working with the Moraga Park & Recreation Commision to sponsor a Moraga Trails Challenge. There are a number of wonderful trails for walking, hiking and biking. Exploring the trails is a great way to enjoy our open spaces and get some exercise. The Trails Challenge log and trails guide can be viewed and downloaded at Moraga Trails Challenge.

In 2014, the Foundation will have nine bands for the Summer Concert Series held at the Commons. The MPF board members grill dinners and run the concession stand.  Each year favorite musicians return to entertain the community.  A few new groups are added, to provide a variety of family entertainment during the summer.
